i like dogs, cats r kewl i am just allergic to em, oh well.

Most people that like dogs, like cats also.As well as most other animals. Its hard not to love them all.I have 4 dogs,3 cats and a horse. I would have more but hubby says no.

I definitely like dogs more -- they'll adapt to your schedule, always be happy to see you when you get home, be raring to go with you wherever the place may be, and a good dog can get along with anyone. Dogs are also smarter than cats when it comes to learning commands. I don't think any animal can beat a dog when it comes to being the best all-around companion.
But that's not to say that cats don't have their place, too. A cat would make a much better companion for someone who can't spend a lot of time with it, or who isn't into the whole training-a-hyperactive-dog-to-calm-down thing. So it's really based on your personal circumstances and preferences. But overall, if you want an animal buddy to do everything with you, a dog is definitely the best.

I have 4 cats & 1 dog. The cats are pretty easy to care for & seem smart enough to fit in & know what to do. My dog is such a dumb thing! She is always doing the most stupid things. She is so much work to take care of & she is so gross. I like cats much better!

it's funny that i was born under the sign of the cat (leo) but i am a dog person. as i tell my husband, also a dog person, i am the only cat in this house. by the way our puppy is a 4 yr old, 130 lb great dane/lab. i can't stand the smell of a cat box. every house i've ever been in that owns a cat stinks.

I prefer dogs because cats sounds like baby crying sometimes. The cats near my house steal my mom's chicken and fish! I cannot stand cats anymore!

Dogs. They are very loyal and also they are very playful. Some cats are playful, but cats can also be the kind that want to be alone all the time. Dogs love attention.

i love both but im more of a cat person but i have 2 cats and 6 dogs well its cause my dog had puppies .

I like dogs. I love cats. I grew up with cats. I think most people prefer the kind of pet they grew up with.

i like dogs better! i mean cats are ok but to me there nasty, not saying i dont like them, but they shedway too much, i like a pet i can really relate to and play with! and im allergic to some cats fur!
