Bree, ALL Christians SHOULD question our religion. We should search for answers every step of the way. God gave us intelligence for a reason. If we weren't supposed to use it, why would we have it?
Of COURSE it's not a sentence to hell to question it. It's when a person questions their religion that they often find things that strengthen, rather than weaken, their beliefs.
Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. If I'm not able to answer, I'll try to find someone or something that can.

Yes, it is perfectly normal to have questions about your religion, no matter what that religion happens to be. There are folks who are happy to do their "religious" thing and go to church say the right prayers put money into the collection plate and do whatever their pastors say they should and leave it at that. In fact that's probably the majority of people who practice religion.

But questioning helps you to understand exactly what you believe and why you believe it. In the end you are far better off, I think. Its not as easy though and of course it isn't a ticket to hell. God gave us brains, we're supposed to use them. Pray, meditate, read and make up your own mind.

It's perfectly normal and healthy, and it's a good thing. Blind acceptance of dogma and faith without questioning isn't necesarily a good thing. Faith after really looking at everything with a critical eye is always a good thing.

Anyone who claims to be totally secure in their chosen path is a liar.

I am a muslim, and in islam we shouldnt go on being muslims just because we were born so!
its very advisabel to question our beliefs, to work out our mind, to consider other options b4 we choose a certain set of beliefs!
this will only make ur beliefs more stronger, also the purpose God created us with this miracleous brain is to use it!

Questioning something is an important part of deciding whether or not it is true, much less worth devoting large fractions of your life and energy towards it. There's no reason why religion should be exempt from this process.

Yes, it is normal, okay, and even healthy to question your religion. Referring to Christianity; more people presently in this country (USA) need to do it; it would help separate (God's word from the bad) it and help the people too.

I sure can. All one must do to be a christian is belive what God says. God requires this because the first sin in the garden was Eve not beliving what God said. Belive God when He says He has accepted the precious sacrife of His only Son,as payment for our sins.

If you don't question how can you find the answers? Seriously, there's nothing wrong in exploring your faith, and other ones for that matter - you usually get something quite positive out of it, maybe new friends, or a deeper and richer understanding of your own beliefs for its own sake, not just because that's what you've been told.

Christians will say 'yes' but they will give every implication that if you come to a different conclusion than they do you'll burn in Hell for all eternity.

So loving, so kind.
