Foods that contain red meat and liver are the richest source of iron. For vegetarians spinach and leafy vegies are good too but women have to be careful as they are unable to absorb iron from spinach so may have to consider a supplement

Broccoli, Red meat, nuts, most things like Total Raisin Bran, or any other Bran type foods, Dark Leafy Greens like Romain Lettuce, and Spinach (which make awesome salads), and of course Iron Vitamins.

I'm anemic, and I eat my rare steaks, with my spinach salads, and broccoli, as often as possible...lol I also take flinstone vitamins, because I can't stand swallowing pills, and if it doesn't taste good, I won't take it.
