No ******* way. You know what I've had second thoughts, the day the Pope admits that homosexuality IS NOT a sin is the day he should be a saint. If he won't do that, then how about the day after her converts to being Jewish

That story could be an urban legend or have some other explanation. I suppose that John Paul II probably a decent person but was he a good pope? Where was he when the child abuse scandals were in the headlines every week? Did he accept responsibility for the crimes as head of his church? Did he take charge of fixing what was wrong with his priesthood and preventing further atrocities? No, he sat in the Vatican with his head in the sand while the bishops covered up the evidence and transferred bad priests to other churches rather than removing them from the priesthood.
This is why I have little respect for John Paul II.

John Paul II became an all-round strong guy. And we do not precisely Pray to Saints, i imagine it really is more advantageous like soliciting for help. i imagine he ought to grow to be a saint. yet i imagine that maximum cancers difficulty is somewhat extraordinary. maximum cancers merely would not poof away like that...(also, "Catholic Christians" is somewhat redundant, they're a similar difficulty) A saint is exceedingly a lot God going "hi, i love you, you are able to dangle out with me." to someone. properly, it is my version anyhow. it really is genuinely finished by technique of a lengthy and boring procedure. How they do it, i do no longer comprehend.

i feel he was a great religious leader. whether or not he is named to Catholic Sainthood remains to be seen. the process to be named a saint is very long, tedious and detailed. there have to be actual miracles medically & scientifically proven. i believe he will be blessed for a while. in my eyes - he is a saint of our times though.

he needs to be dead a while first. he probably will be though. personally, i would suspect 'miracles' performed by anyone with a vested interest in conning the public into believe in miracles.
Parkinsons is a complicated illness, there can be many causes and the brain is the most non-understood organ in the body.

He never impressed me. When he said women couldn't be priests because they didn't look like Jesus, I knew God wasn't speaking to him either. I mean, priests aren't suppose to use their penis anyway, so it could hardly matter if they didn't have one. But he would have enjoyed being named a saint, I suppose, so why not.
I like the new guy, though. He's got heart.

I'm not sure if he performed any miracles...but on the basis of his compassion and kindness alone I'd consider him a saint.
...and he certainly was not without flaws...but his (humble) greatness significantly overshadowed the negative bits.

They can if they want to, it doesn't make him a saint in God's eyes.

No, but he was popular, so he'll be elected to the Catholic Hall Of Fame.
