You let him feel what it's like when no one will stick around long enough to take his abuse!

Hon, you shouldn't even have to deal w/ a boyfriend who has a bad temper, but if you insist, here's what I suggest:
Does he unleash said temper on you alot? If he does, the next time he starts a screaming fit in you vicinity, make sure you calmly ignore him, grab your purse & walk straight out the door. Tell him you'll be back when he's done having his temper tantrum. Engage him in a conversation about it ONLY once he has calmed down. At that point, give it to him straight; either he gets help for/ learns to control this raging temper of his, or you're gone. There's enough to worry about in a relationship that's going WELL, let alone in a relationship where one person enjoys being an a**hole 1/2 the time. I hope all goes well. Best of Luck!

It sounds like you both should attend separate counseling. I don't mean that in a smartass kinda way..but sincerely. I think he needs to work on his temper, it's not going to help him in any situation. He may not be interested in counseling...but tell him it actually shows weakness to not be able to admit there is a problem and get help for it.
I think you could also do some thinking about your self-esteem and why you'd put up with someone who has a bad temper. You CAN do better.
I see you put this question in the 'weddings' category, I think you have a lot of thinking to do before considering a wedding.

Um...like my fellow yahoo friends I say leave him it is not a good idea to stay in a relationship with someone that has a bad temper. Bad tempers then turn into an abusive lover not a very good idea hun. So I say kick his butt to the side and move on there is more guys in this world. Every girl deserves to be treated like a princess you just need to find your prince don't settle on the first "toad".

First, find a good counselor who can help you figure out why you would want to be with a man with a really bad temper. More than likely, it's a form of abuse. Second, back away, find a new life for yourself, and let him be someone else's problem. You don't deserve him.

if I wre u I would talk to him and tell him that I don't like his temper and that he should change it, and this is my advise for you, break up with him if he becomes a complete maniac with a bad temper that hurt u or can't handle it. I don't think u deserve deal;ing with his bad temper, maybe it is not ur fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh I hate men like that. Why is there so darn many of them. Yea years and years of that and if you mix kids and pets with him it never works and you get older real quick. Take it from me leave him today and don't leave him the forwarding address. Don't list your name in the phone book either. He will find you. There are some crazy nuts out there. You probably haven't seen the worst or him yet.

You don't "handle" it. You tell him to hit the road. He will just keep getting worse as time goes on and things could turn physical. Don't stay in a situation like that. They never change and you can't control him.

Well...if he's rich...you might be able to set him up. Provoke an attack and then sue the crap out of him. But that could be dangerous too. Tell him to go take an anger management class and call you when it's over.
