williamsburg, bay ridge, bensonhurst, brighton beach, sheapshead bay - its mostly south west of brooklyn

NOT BED-STUY. I'll tell you this-- my friend is a new york city cop who works in the Harlem area and hates hates hates even taking the train through Bed-Stuy to get to work.

No matter how good an apartment listing for Bed-Stuy looks, avoid it. That's why they are so cheap. Because no one wants to live there-- it's dangerous.

I would suggest Williamsburg, Boerum Hill/Cobble Hill and southern Fort Greene, it's super safe and close to every train.

I was told that Ships Head Bay is a good area to live. Very Nice. :)

I have been told that Jamaica & Elucid is VERY bad area!
