On March 21, 2003, the first American was wounded in the war in Iraq.
A Marine Staff Sgt. stepped on a landmine and broke his right arm and damaged his leg so badly that it was amputated.
He was awarded a Purple Heart.
He recently came out as gay.

Also, the military has discharged over 300 service members with skills in Arabic, Farsi, Korean and other critical languages over the last 10 years because of the ban on homosexuals in the armed forces.

Do you think that people who say "Support Our Troops" support ALL the troops by being against discrimination within the military?

I support our troops by supporting the war they're fighting . To do any less is simply lying to yourself ! I do not support homosexuals in the military under any circumstances. The guy who lost his leg and was a homosexual was violating the rules of the military service. That's not to say he deserved what he got, but he did bring it on himself. He certainly deserves support and benefits befitting a handicapped veteran, but that all I have to say about that !

Homosexuals in the military are indeed a distraction, and not a very positive one at that. Their very presence is a threat to the heterosexual community, because they can't be seen ! When they are seen, or out themselves, this causes yet another dilemma, their safety . Once they are outed, for whatever reason, they must leave the unit. It is dior that they leave before any harm comes to them, because it most assuredly will happen if they aren't immediately transferred .

Now, who the hell wants to live like that ?

I support ALL of our troops - regardless of sexual orientation. It honestly isn't the general public's fault that the ban on homosexuals exists....we can voice our opinons on it, but ultimately it's been up to the "big dogs."

The military must rid itself of gays. It effects morale. I support any soldier who gives their life for this country. They deserve full support if injured, regardless of their sexual orientation.
