If you have the ones with the velcro, you just velcro it behind your head under your hijab and abaaya or whatever covering you choose, then there are ones that tie over... it depends on what kind you have... the basic thing is that it covers your face but leaves your eyes out for safety... and some even have the little pull-down for over your eyes if you want to cover that too.

You don't have to do that you know. Your face is not part of your genitals, its not shameful or immodest to show your face and hair.
