Kinda hard to say, considering we don't know what kind of hound is in the mix.

I LOVE Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, though (I also love Bernese Mountain Dogs, but the longer hair is a bit more work).

My guess is you'll end up with a loyal, adorable new pet!

With any mixed breed you're taking a chance of inheriting some faults from either side. Look on the AKC website, and see what the normal traits for both breeds are, then figure that somewhere in there is what you're going to get. Maybe! Common sense says that if you're looking for a dog to fit a certain lifestyle, go to a breeder that has spent years breeding out the undesireable traits of that particular breed. Remember that in many dogs, bad things like aggression, epilepsy, hip and eye problems, don't show up until they're about 3 yers old. By then you're attached to the dog, and are committed to Vet bills totalling in the thousands of dollars, if there's a problem.

If you're "going to get" the dog, it's a little too late for research.

Breed matters very little. You need to be concerned with the temperament and health of the dog.

Wow, BIG dog. Sounds okay, I know people with both types of breeds. Mixed together? The more the merrier.
