I need help installing a Pioneer DEH-P3700MP in a Saturn S Series 2001, the wiring harness does not fit and need to know how to connect the wires. Which wires go to what on the Saturn?

i had a similar problem with my (totalled) '04 cavalier, which i had to buy a saturn harness for. all of the speakers were swapped front to back and left to right! before you read any further, try to buy the aftermarket stereo wiring harness available at either best buy or circuit city or online. very cheap, like less than 10 bucks. if it is incorrect as to what color wires go to which speaker, you will have to look at each speaker as it is mounted and take note, then re-wire it accordingly. or go to
www.installdr.com
and there you will find the wire color codes for both your car and common aftermarket stereo wires.

Go to the local stero shop(car audio) and get the adaptor harness for $10-20 bucks. It is the only way to do these without a full on wire diagram of the car and electrician skills which, by your question, I assume you aren't really good at...

The part number for the correct wire harness for your vehicle is 70-2002 (made by Metra). You should be able to find it at Best Buy or Circuit City, or most car audio stores.

They sell adapter plugs that come with a wiring diagram for like 10 bucks great investment.You can get at best buy circuit city small audio shops blah blah
Make sure you diconnect your battery BEFORE doing all this wiring

Just about any car audio shop will have an adaptor that will fit. they do not usually cost more than 10 dollars, Walmarts, bestbuy, all have them.
