why his name is Jesus christ, if he is from middle east?

ok is like this if mr. Jesus christ is from the middle east his name should be like kalim , or hassan, ar even shalamannan, but insted his name sounds mexican-american can some one please explain this to me? thank you .

ok since i have alll this answers pointing to the jews i will go tha that damm greek cafe at the mall and demand an explanation , why they translate his name in to mexican and i iwill demand for his last name to be relised to the public .

Because Jesus Christ was a name placed on the Messiah by the men who re-wrote the bible. There was a man named Jeshuah Bin Joseph from the house of David and Joseph.

The Bin part means son of much like O' or Mc would be.

Jesus means God God, taken from two different languages. Latin and Greek the Latin word for God is Yeh or Je ( pronounced Hey) and the second part is Sus, or Zus the Greek God. Christ means Consciousness its just that simple.

There are 16 actual Messiahs in our history that you can physically find grounded evidence of. You will not and can not find any grounded physical evidence of Jesus anywhere.

His name was actually something similar to Yeshua or Jehoshua. In Greek, it was written Ἰησοῦς (I'm copying the Greek from elsewhere so it may not come through right.), which is pronounced ee-ay-sooce.

Actually, His name translated into Hebrew (He was Jewish so He was given a Hebrew name) is Joshua. The name Christ is a title, not an actual name. Christ means Savior which is what He is. Also, the name Joshua was a very common name in that time period, just like the name Mary for girls.

Okay... Jesus is pronounced differently where he came from, and originally spelt beginning Yeshua (correct me if I'm wrong) or Yeshua ben Yoseph. Something obviously happened between now and then to have the spelling and sound change.
