The thoughts of men are perverted and mixed with right thoughts. Its a continuous fight to do the right thing? But this is what makes the difference between a person that wants to do the right thing and a evil person that doesn't care.
If a person listens to the letters from God and uses God's advice he will fair better than if he doesnt listen.
Its a daily fight in this world to not fall to temptation of sex or stealing, or dishonest gain, But its not impossible to quit doing those things.
Once a person has understood that our creator knows far better whats good for us, and to live under his way of rule will remove once and for all time the badness of ungodly men.
Doing so will also help us to grow in a way where evil things will no longer come to mind.
See |Revelation 21:3,4, Read Mathew 6:9,10 think about what it says? then read PS 83:18, and Dan 2:44, Also read PS 37:9-11,29, Mathew 5:5. Then ask yourself what you want? To live 70 or 80 years or to live forever?gemhandy@hotmail.com

"True"(?) Christians are allowed to be sexual if they are married. I honestly don't know anyone that constantly has something perverted to say, not even here on Yahoo!, so I think you are alone in feeling that way.
May God Bless you.

First of all.. I don't like the "TRUE Christian" thing... either you have given your heart to Christ or you haven't.
Secondly, you know you aren't the only one... don't be silly. I don't have constant perverted thoughts.
Thirdly... it's best to strive to have your thoughts mainly centered on God, but that's something we all have to work on. With all the worldliness out there, it can be a struggle. So, you can still be a Christian while striving to be more Jesus like.

Dear Petina,
You are certainly not alone. There is a lot more to life than sex. We certainly have a higher purpose than that. We are to be loving (in the 3 major different types of love ways), caring, helpful people, serving God first and then other people.
A scripture comes to mind:
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. (Phillipians 2)
This is not saying be a dormat, or consider yourself trash, but to be interested in, to care for, to help others, but also to take care of yourself, for if you don't do that, how will you be able to help others?
Hope this helps.

I think it is good to think in God, but you cannot renounce nor deny your sexual nature either. I make jokes and I behave in a flirty way now and then, but that does not mean I am not Catholic, committed to my religion and someone who will start sinning almost every day.
I think that holding your sexuality damages you sooner or later too.

I try to be God-centered. I don't know if I've made remarks that could be considered perverted or not. I hope not, but no one's perfect.

I fell that way too. So many people around me always make the sickest comments and take everything out of context. It is awful.

No you are not alone. I think about God most of the time too.
Sometimes "The Accuser" likes to tell us we're all alone in this, doesn't he?.....when he does this just remind him where he's going.

"Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things."
(Philippians 4:8)
It's a dirty world out there.
Thank God for the laver of His Word.
