There are conditions other than migraine headache that cause these symptoms and no one should be so quick to jump on the migraine bandwagon. Migraines get blamed for all sorts of things. What the other responder doesn't know is that sinus infection can cause these symptoms as well as some very serious conditions.
I don't know why you "can't go to a doctor" but, sweetheart, you need to. This needs to be evaluated soon.

I have been a migraine sufferer for years. Your symptoms (the intense pain and nausea) are consistent with a migraine attack. However, you say "it was really blurry...almost black" and this worries me.
Do not assume this is a migraine attack, it could be a stroke, it could be many other things that only a doctor can assess.
First of all, do NOT take any medication. It might just make matters worse.
My best advice to you is FORGET THE PARTY and consult a doctor or go to hospital emergency immediately.
Good luck. I hope you feel better soon.

When I first started reading this I thought you were describing a migraine, but the loss of vision could be the result of a stroke or brain tumor. Somehow or another, you need to be seen by a doctor.
If you're on your computer, I would guess that your vision came back. However, this is not a good sign. You need to go to an emergency room. They can't refuse you treatment because you can't afford to pay. Call 911 if you have to, but get to a hospital now.

This sounds like a typical migraine (for me). You need to see your doctor and ask explain your symptoms and ask if you can try Imitrex (or another similar migraine medication). These medications are life savers! Also, in the mean time, when you get one, it helps to lie down in a dark, quite room with an ice pack on the side of your head/neck that hurts. It kind of numbs the area to make the pain die down a little bit. Caffeine sometimes helps my migraines.

well it could be different things but u need testing it sounds serious and i don't want to scare u but u could have a tumor which if u don't attend to in time it could be fatal, other than that u could have a problem with your vision, glaucoma or a tumor in the back of your eye i know this cause i worked at an eye doctor or you could be a diabetic, like i said there are many different things so find a way to go to the doctor before is too late I'm not kidding it sounds serious

Those are classic migraine headache symptoms. You will need to see a doctor to make sure nothing else is going on, and if it is a migraine he or she can give you a prescription pain medication. Over the counter pain meds don't do much for a bad migraine.

It sounds like a migraine, take some pain relief and an anti sickness if you have some, and lie down in a darkroom this helps for me.
I think you should go and see a doctor about this as it sounds like it is quite a bad one. He will be able to recommend the best treatment for you.

The symptoms that you describe are similar to many diseases and conditions. From migraine through to pituitary tumour and vestibular neuronitis. Symptoms similar to those that you describe are similar, also, to those that some people suffer from after undergoing Lasik surgery. Plavix, which is used for peripheral arterial disease, amongst others, also causes symptoms like this.
You would be advised to re-consult your doctor and seek further assistance.
Hope this helps

Its a migrane, I get them about twice a month they SUCK... It can be a number of things, bad posture, bad sleeping, staring at something to long in one position etc.
Best thing to do is go to the doctor and get tyneol with codeine best thing for it. Or take about 2000 mg of advil or mortin and stay where its quit and lights out and try to sleep it off..
I just got over one that lasted 2 days UGH... I know what your going through

You should actually go and see a doctor at the ER right now if you want to get better (and I mean in health wise), otherwise it can get worse by the minute if you just sit there waiting for everyone to answer your question. Don't wait and go see the doctor - NOW!
