the god i described in my last sentance were taken from the verses such as...

2 Kings 2:23-24 (forcing suffering)
Leviticus 24:10-11 (telling a camp to stone a man)
Genesis 7 - god drowns everyone except moses and his family.
How bout where moses pursuers drown in the red sea? how bout where Samson kills 1000 philistines? how bout the other instances where GOD, not satan, command people be executed for their sins...

everything i said was verses about god not satan, yet you proved that they are evil deeds.

you did prove my point. that god of the bible commits evil/sinful attrocities.

That's a strange statement.
Didn't the Egyptians basically sent word to kill any male born child when the population got to numerous? And what if Pharo had caught Moses and the Isrealites? Wouldn't he have shed tons of blood?

And as far as Samson, the Philistines burned his wife, yes?

you see this is why i dont believe. i dont want somebody iv never met to destroy me and drown me in the red sea. i wonder if the pope has ever made a sin?!
i have sinned many times. and i know damn well i will more throughout my future. do some people really go on with life not making a sin. you have to at least once gone threw with it. and i dont believe that you can excuse your sin. if you could why cant you do it at home. do you need a priest to remind you god forgives. i just hope i get recycled when i die. i dont have to be reincarnated. just hope my body will flow with my friends

So are you saying that it is wrong to punish anyone? or Kill in the defense of a people? just because there is pain suffering or death does not make it evil. for almost everything to live something else must die. for there to be improvement there must be pain (because few improve for the sake of improvement).

Would you not punish your child for disobeying you or hurting someone close to you? would you hurt someone who hurt your child? and is it wrong to do any of these?

I think you summarized the stories quite well and think it is sick that you can mention a story and have someone that defends the bible so vigorously not recognize it.

i have yet to see any of fireball's answers that weren't meaningless.

she's usually spiteful and angry.

otherwise, great post. the bible is very self-contradicting.
