Yes. He made this even more clear in Revelation 1:17,18 when He said "Don't be afraid, I am the First and the Last, and the Living One; and I was dead, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades."

In Revelation 22:16, He identifies Himself as "Jesus". The answer is also given earlier in Revelation 2:8 "These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;" There is only One who can fit this description--the resurrected Jesus.
But who is the First and the Last according to Isaiah? It is YHWH...
Isa 41:4 Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I YHWH, the first, and with the last; I am he.
Isa 48:12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
Who is the First and the Last according to Isaiah again? Wait! It is YHWH and His Redeemer
Isa 44:6 Thus saith the YHWH the King of Israel, and his redeemer the YHWH of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Who is the First and the Last? It is YHWH it is Yeshua, the Redeemer, the Almighty.
Re 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Re 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last:
Re 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Re 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Re 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

The alpha and the omega is the beginning and the end. God started life on earth with creation and he will end the creation that he put on earth. I am not sure than anyone could get an honest answer to that question without going to heaven. The bible tells us that God loved the world that he gave us his son. God was here to create the earth along time ago. God was here before Jesus was. I don't believe that it is possible for God to create the earth and then be born as Mary's son. God was telling everyone about Jesus and telling everyone to prepare for a savior. Jesus walked the earth telling everyone about his father and that no man shall get to heaven without going through his father. I believe they are two different deities. I don't see anything that would suggest that they're the same person.

God is triune - three in one; The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
So, yes, Jesus, is God. He came to earth, and walked among His creation.
