If you are asking straight up about crucifixes and eggs, then I would have to agree that eggs are the clear winner. However, I sense that you are trying to initiate a discussion of non-christian, nature based religions (what has often been called "pagan" religions) and Christianity, and that is a much more complex question. A great deal of the complexity springs from a differing use of the word "Christian" by different groups.
You will hear some say that Christianity is nothing more than a hodgepodge of the "Pagan" religions that were practiced by the people conquered by (whatever "Christian" empire is being railed against) and twisted to suit the misogynistic, imperialistic desires of those in power. While elements of that are present, it is an entirely too simple and unfair portrayal of what happened.
Christianity, as a religion, is based in a historical-factual narrative, and therefore is not just a hodgepodge of what happened before. Jesus of Nazareth was a real historical person (very few people would disagree with that), Paul of Tarshish and the "early church" were real historical people as well. So necessarily, there was a time before them in history when Christianity (as a religion) did not exist. So yes, "pagan" religions did exist before the existence of the Christian religion. No serious historian would argue this (at least I don't think a serious historian would, but I guess they might just do it for laughs).
However, when this question is presented, a lot of people take it to mean "did pagan religions exist before the Christian God and Christ and before things were known about them?" This is a question that is based on ones personal belief about revelation, and whether one sees elements of Christian understanding in pre- and non- Christian religions. I think it is a much more difficult question to answer objectively, because it is a matter of interpretation and belief, and because so much of pre- Christian religion has been lost or changed very radically (often in response to the existence of Christianity). We are then often forced to rely on historical sources for information, and those sources are often colored by the writers biases and perspective.
So literally, the first egg came before the first crucifix. Metaphorically, "pagan" religions came before the Christian religion. Spiritually/Metaphysically, it really depends on who you are asking.

The egg was taken from pagan fertility rites
Horus was crucified between two thieves, buried for three days in a tomb, and resurrected.1500 years before the time of Jesus. Jesus wasn't even original.

I don't think this is a very good comparison, but I guess the "egg".
