Hey dawgs, I was just wondering if there are any Linux hard drive partition managing programs that are recommended. I saw one called Paragon, just wondering if anyone with personall experience could offer some wisdom.

You can use Gparted, if you need to resize your root partition you need a boot a live CD. You can use Knoppix or the Gparted Live CD.

Most Linux distros come with the built in ability to partition during installation. If you want a separate partitioning program, use GParted. It gives you the ability to partition from a "live cd".

I dont know but I find Disk Druid just fine. Nearly all linux distros come with partitioning software of some sort. They work quite well even for re-partitioning.
