I have always had blonde hair ever since I was little. My old hair dresser (the last one that colored my hair) never did what I ask him to. I told him blonde and my hair isn't blonde, it just has to much brown in it. Now I am getting it redone by someone new but I have heard that she is very good (and 70 bucks less ha). I don't want white hair, but I don't want blonde/ brown hair either. I don't want dark blonde, I want a sunkissed blonde look for summer. I thought I was clear to my old hair dresser, but oviously I wasn't. How should I word it next time....which is tom. at 4:00!?

I brought a picture of myself last time. However my hair didn't look like I wanted it to. Did myhairdresse just have a mind of his own?

I think that your hairdresser was just taking liberties with your hair. If you explain it to your new stylist, I think she might have a better idea of what you are talking about. What are the chances that you will get two crazy stylists in a row?

Hey there. Umm it's a little bit over 4 .. but here's my suggestion. If you don't like your brown hair OR your hairstylist... CHANGE your hairstylist= change your hair. It's not worth getting something that's not to your liking. So.. if you don't want just brown, why don't you go for blond streaks and the brown underneath? It`s like having multi-colored hair and is still stylish, yet you still have the same original hair you had , AND if you get it done by a GOOD stylist that actually LISTENS to what you want.. then your good to go. Peace out ;]

I agree w/ the previous answers - bring a photo from a magazine.

If there are any photos of yourself from childhood where you loved the color bring it along too so the hair dresser can get a better idea of which kind of blonde works w/ your complexion.

The best thing to do is to take a picture in of the exact color you want.

Find it quick!

That way if they don't have any excuses, because you showed them specifically what you wanted.

Try prining out something online or going and getting one of those hair magazines.

Good Luck

Tell her exactly what you want, don't leave out ANY details. Show her a picture, bring the color marker in do what ever it takes to get your points across. Good luck!

The easiest way to make it clear is to show her a picture of the color you want.

Print out what you wrote above and take it to the hairdresser; she should be able to take it from there!
