OMG i totally know how you feel! i had the same problem! Turned out there was something else that was bothering me and i didnt really know it was until i really thought about myself. I am so happy, it was only a 35 minute drive ( 70 minutes total) but absolutely no sign of anxiety or panic i shopped till I dropped - brilliant! I will now go for the next stage DUAL CARRIAGE way, probably at the weekend, with my husband accompanying me first then the solo drive, if successful the final stage of driving on motorway

You have anxiety disorder, the most common form of mental illness there is. See a psychiatrist for therapy and meds. If you want to read and get informed in the mean time, go to www.panicsurvivor.com. A great site. Good luck to you..

You may wish to try magnesium.

Zoloft, as an SSRI, may be making you feel "flat", but even among the SSRI's, there seems to be some variation in effect and side effects. If you need to stay on a prescription, you might try a different one.
