I asked this question a few days ago and everyone either qouted scripture (which I specifically told them doesn't make sense) or just said "That's why it's called FAITH, dummy."

Or something like that.

Hope you have better luck.

I'd point at all the things happening in the world around you, then show you where it was in the bible. I know what it says, I know what signs are given, I know what I am seeing. Do you? The fact you are asking this question says that it is likely you do not.

The question could be asked (and has been, just as the one you pose has been) "For any NON believer of ANY religion: How could you prove science is right on creation without using any scientific material, documents, or tools?" If they are not allowed to use the tools that helped them make the decision, how are you supposed to understand how they got it? The question is flawed from the start.

If said proof was given to you, would you believe it or dismiss it? You would likely dismiss it because many who ask this question dont want to believe it in the first place. If you are honestly wanting an answer, you wouldn't try to exclude the source which they use. This takes us back to the flaw of the question. If you are not going to listen to the answers given to you, why pose the question in the first place? I would suggest you recheck your motives for asking it.

If you would still like proof that God is real, I can give it to you if you would like, but you will be given bible verses to compare to real world events. You can have the proof, I offer it to you freely, the question is do you really want to see it and be shown it's true, or do you just want to continue on asking questions meant to antagonize and degrade someone who does not agree with you? If you really do want answers to your question, email me and I'll give you dozens.

No one can prove God's existence. There is no proof. Those who believe in God do so on faith.

My religion doesn't even have a 'holy book', yet we believe in God. It's faith. To claim any kind of proof, written or otherwise, is insane.

Christian.

To oneself one doesn't have to prove it, if one is very aware of the Holy Spirit. He is a spirit, but He is very real. He indwells the believers spirit and body. Some believers are not well aware of this and should seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit, but I am at many times very aware - and extremely happy when aware as the presence of God is exceedingly wonderful.

Proving to others: if a believer is developed in his faith so that he is moving in supernatural gifts he could prove to an unbeliever that God was with him. Words of knowledge. Gifts of healing and faith. Speaking to them in their language (when you don't know their language, and they know you don't). These gifts are very rare amongst christians over here in the UK, I think. Most of these don't operate 'at will', in the sense that they depend on communion with the Holy Spirit, and He knows when they will be effective and when not.

I am of The True Christian Faith. I can not "prove" God to you...and I know no one of The Faith who can....as the The Bible... The Bible dose not prove God... God proves the Bible... only those open to the leading of God through The Holy Spirit will find, in The Bible, what God has for them there.

the "proof" you seek can come only from God.

if you have questions concerning the basics of The True Christian Faith you may email me. One honest question will receive one honest answer to the best of my ability

In 2002, my teenage daughter was killed in an auto accident. I was working over 200 miles away.
I had to pack my entire hotel room, secure all the equipment for the job (and whoever would be coming to take my place), get in touch with the Owner of the company who hired me to be there, and then drive over 200 miles, going thru denial, anger, denial, anger - But, I had peace in KNOWING I was not alone and that my higher power was with me in Spirit. That my child was like that poem... They are flowers, but not ours...
I couldn't have done all that, supported the siblings who were a wreck too, make funeral arrangements, feed the family, go to the funeral....and put her in the ground.
It is real what is with me.....My God.... Thanks

Great question! It actually made me think for once on here ;)

I tried to picture myself in the days of the Biblical Patriarchs (as well as the early prophets), because your question actually applies perfectly to them. They themselves had no sciptures to build off of, so how did they find proof of God?

Through proper and intentive meditation (which does not require any knowledge of previous written holy books), one can, AND WILL see proof of God's existence, as well as find the answers to many of the world's / life's problems.

If you could prove the existences of God then you would need no faith and without faith we can not please God. So I had rather please God then man, I will just pray and let the Holy Spirit take care of the rest

I don't prove God exists, I BELIEVE God exists. Atheists tend to have a problem understanding faith. Religion doesn't look for proof, it looks for TRUTH. Proof =/ Truth by the way.
