Why is it that when men have a cold.....yes just a little cold that they turn in to a horrible person??

when my best friend gets a little sniffly cold, he's practically dying??? I just tell him to stop whining, go home and leave me alone in peace. Yes I am such a great friend(!) haha
I think the difference between us is that women bleed every month and they have gotten tough while most men have not had that chance so they are a bunch of wimps (sorry guys!!!).
Okay - some men are tough I can give you that. I admire those kind of men for not whining.

Have you never heard of MAN FLU?
The poor soul isn`t horrible he is ill--really ill. Scurry round make hot drinks, mop his fevered brow, fetch magazines, paracetamol, turn the heating up or down whichever he wants.
Failing that go out on the town and let him stew in his own little cold on his own.

You must be in UK because a little cold had by a man is called 'MAN 'FLU' in other words British men can't handle being in a situation which gives them the sniffles...basically they are wimps. Guys like Arnold Swazhneggereenger are real ltough guys who can survive anything....us Brit girls have to put our foot down and stop mummying these patsie men...

cos men are ..mentally the weaker sex,when us women get a cold or the flu we carry on looking after the family AND the men without complaining and if we do say something were lucky to get a sympathetic grunt in between the football match

It's all to do with viral interactions.
Because of mens genes and chromozones, our bodies contract a huge amount of these virus' Many more times than women, and in doing so, our bodies, (mens), react that much worse. We are more sick with these colds that go around, than women ever could. Ours generally turn into flu.
It's in our genes my love, best thing for you to do, is wash our fevered brows and make sure that we are warm and well fed..with lots of mugs of tea!

Beacuse men do not get colds they get "man-flu" or "man-colds". Women are just stonger and dont moan as much when they are il!

Men are'nt allowed to do the "sick role" - society doesnt support this. And so attack is the best form of defence
