All children are different. It depends on how well they mastered their eating skills and how many teeth they have. The best time to start buying them happy meals is when You feel that your child is able to chew the food. I started giving mine children happy meals between 15-18months. I would do it when you feel comfortable about it.

My daughter is 21 months old now, and she wouldn't eat enough to make it worth the purchase. It depends on the child and how much they can eat. After 18 months they can pretty much eat anything (except choking hazards), so I think that's a good age to try. Although I agree with the person that said to order light for yourself because it's usually too much for them to eat. We try to stay away from fast food, but sometimes it's unavoidable. Just do what you think is best.

I'm not real sure on the exact age but I think we started buying my son his before he was 1 1/2. The toy is the fun part and if they don't eat it all that's what dad is for.
