That depends upon many factors such as how much money you make, how many dependents you have, other taxable income or deductions, your marital status, etc., yadda, yadda.

It depends on how you filled out your W-4, Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate. You actually determine what is withheld from your pay by the number of withholding allowances you claim!

The percentage rate is 3%. There is no withholdings for Cook County, IL because there is no county income taxes.

I would not know. I elected to answer UK questions only. Seems yahoo buggers this up as well.
