Hi, I got a Cuisinart pannini grill for Christmas..........needless to say, I'm the King of Panninis now..............there isn't too much we haven't tried with it, but my favorite is still Italian Rosemary Ham, Provolone Cheese, fresh Tomato, and pesto sauce................You can get one of them at Linens and Things, and they're about $129 (US dollars.......) It is also a multi tasker, it can be used as a contact grill (think George Forman type grills) it can also be opened all the way and you can use it as a griddle/grill.........So, it's very versatile....I give mine 4.5 out of 5 stars............Oh, and you can say bye bye to your favorite pannini place, you'll never have to pay those prices for a great pannini again!!! Enjoy!!!
Oh, almost forgot, you want one that the lid hinges on itself, so that the pannini gets "squished" all over, not just the back....and one with a heavy lid that you don't have to weight down........those are the features that I love about mine......
