I don't know what category I fall into ... if anything it would be Taoist. I just sort of fell into it by accident. I developed my own philosophies on life, or what I thought were my own and then people who were of the same thinking just sort of magically appeared in my life who were of the same groove. We'd be talking about stuff, I'd give my 2 cents worth and they'd look at me curiously, ask if I was a Taoist because they knew a lot about it. Tao isn't anything tangible and cannot be explained. It just is. As simple and uncomplicated as it gets. It works for me.
I have chosen this way of life, or rather it has chosen me. I spent a lot of years soul-searching and looking into various religions but all I found was hypocrasy and contradiction. I get viewed upon as somewhat of a Polly-Anna but I have learned to take it as a compliment rather than mocking. At least I'm not hurting anyone. Much easier on the conscience, too.
And I appreciate your request regarding negative responses about other contributors thoughts.

Im a christian and i believe every Word of the Bible..
Here is proof for God.The proof of his existence is all around us . In the earth, which is the right size, the perfect distance from the sun, has the perfect tilt, mixture of gases to support life, and a life cycle. We see design in ourselves as humans beings. We have brains and a nerve center that store knowledge and memories. We have ears that we can hear just the right amount not to little so we could hear others talk and not too much we can hear air molecules passing through our ears. We have eyes to see all of Gods creation. We have a heart to pump blood throughout are body. We have lungs to breathe in air.
Every part of our body has a purpose and was designed perfectly. Look at a cell! How much information is in something so small. God has given us more proof for him in the Bible.
The Bible was inspired by God.
Bible is 66 books written by 40 inspired different authors over thousands of years.
1000's of Men and women died for this book would be persevered for the future.
There are 1000’s of prophesy throughout the Bible and more than 90% have already been fulfilled. Every verse is expressing Gods prophecy and plan for the world and his people, the Jews. The Bible is the most historical book from that time in print.
It also has 1000,000,000s of copies maybe even more.
It is the oldest book that is still widely printed today.
The Bible never contradicts its self and it is in sync with history.
No one can say the Bible lacks detail. Many of the things God said to isreal in the Bible as
We now know as basic scientific procurers, knowledge, and cleanliness measures. The Bible is backed 99% by other historical accounts.

I am an atheist, and I don't believe in any form of god or any other deity for several reasons. First, the questions I care about have only been answered by science and not by any religion. Second, I just don't "feel" anything else is out there. Third, I have always followed one of the principle points of the I Ching, though I do not follow any other points of it, which is that the simplest answer is almost always the correct one. So I asked myself this question: is it more likely that a god or deity created this universe and that its plan took billions of years to come to a point where it could create a species to worship it, or it is it more likely that we are here by chance, after one of trillions of planets was able to contain and sustain life. To me, the second answer is more logical and simple. As for anyone else's religious beliefs, of course I will respect them, regardless of how they feel about mine.

Pagan, but more specifically, Isian (worship of Egyptian/Roman/pan-Mediterranean/European goddess Isis).
Why? Well, because Isis is what I feel. I've been into Egyptology and ancient religion forever, and when I stumbled upon Isis worship, I found I couldn't shake it from my system. It's as if she found me :)
My beliefs are basic. Be the best you can be without doing so at another's expense. Look for signs in dreams and the subconscious. I pray daily (well, I try) on my altar, and just thank her for the little things.
I don't know what the afterlife holds for me, so I don't claim to have the answers. I just feel her presence strongly and trust my life in her loving hands :)

I follow a Celtic Reconstructionist path (neo-pagan).
I honor land and water deities and my ancestors. I worship some of the ancient Celtic deities. I am polytheistic and animistic. I believe in reincarnation and value honor and hospitality. My practices include honoring my deities daily with song, prayer, and an offering (usually food or drink) as well as celebrating four yearly agricultural holidays. The deities that I am closest to are Taranis, Lugh and Epona. I have never believed in the existence of any all-powerful or all-knowing deity. I believe that there are many deities and many ways of relating to those deities.
Why do I believe? I have always been polytheistic---it just makes sense to me. Over the years I have nurtured relationships with my deities. For me, my religion is a way of life and a way of looking at life and understanding my place in it. If my practices weren't fulfilling, I wouldn't waste my time. The main reason that I believe what I do is because of my relationships with my deities and my desire to please them. This brings me happiness and peace.

I'm Christian and my denomination is Catholic. I believe in the Trinity and that everybody is connected to God one way or another. I don't condemn other beliefs because I think we all have the same goal in life: to united with God. I see God as a stern father who watches over us and hopes that we do right by him. He is not judgmental and listens to what I have to say. I think he is upset by the division in Christianity and the wars in his name, I think children are the ones closest to God. Those are my beliefs and my religion.

I am Christian and I do not believe in religion since it was man-made to worship things that are visible. Romans 1:1 The reason why I believe, is that God (Jesus) Changed my life around. I felt his presence and love around me. Please I know that I don't know you but it would be awesome to have you as a christian sister. Christianity is about love, integrity, passion, and the list keeps going on. Nothing bad. Give you life to Christ today and he'll change your life.

I'm Asatru. Because it gives me a fulfillment in life that no other religion ever could do. Being connected to the Gods who are as close to you as bloodkin, following a Lore that teaches you to be strong and independent, honoring your ancestors and the heroes of before, that is Asatru for me.

i am a Celtic Pagan.
as for my belies, i could write for days to explain them and then answer why. but let me just makie it as simple as possible.
i have always believed that if you do bad to somebody else that you will be punished in a fair manner. this is something that my parente taught me through childhood. and it is what i saw in Pagan religions that called out to me. if we do harm to another, then harm will come to us. no matter how sorry we may be. this leads to thought before action. because each action has a consequence.
i chose Celtic Paganism because i have a love of nature and quite simply when i did my first ritual it was the Celtic Gods that called out to me.

I'm a christian. I believe that Jesus Christ came down to Earth, lived a perfect life, died on a cross, and then rose again three days later and conquered sin. Now, if you believe in Christ as your Savior and Lord, you can join HIm and God in heaven on day when you die.
Accepting CHrist into my life was the best thing I ever did and i never once regretted it
