I am under a care of a neurologist ---- my third and no promising cures.

Besides surgery, which is VERY risky, there are no cures. When a neurologist talked with me about surgery, he said there was a risk that I would never be able to speak again (my scar tissue is on the left temporal lobe). The Epilepsy Foundation's website lists current developments, and new medical information. That would be a good starting point. WebMD has some information, and might also have links to other sites which might help.

If you are under the care of a physician, you shouldn't need to be doing research on the web. Do you think you're going to find something he/she didn't learn in medical school? Either you trust your doctor or you don't. I would think a cure depends a lot upon what's causing the seizures.

I would suggest Epilepsy.com. I just stumbbled apon it a few days ago. The information there is amazing. There are also community forums, chatrooms and blogs.

My wife has just recently be diagnosed with epilepsy. Here is a local chapter site from epilepsyfoundation.org.
