This may sound gross, but if you drink two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar a day, then your cold will be completely gone in a couple of days, NO LIE!!!! It will make you feel better though in a few hours. This really works!
(Just be sure to take it on a full stomach, or it could make you sick.)
It's really not that bad. It taste a lot like pickle juice. This sounds weird, but this stuff is all natural, and clears up your colds FAST!

This will make you feel a lot better, but not get rid of your cold.

1. Take a cough drop.

2. Make a steam by boiling water and putting in a few drops of essential oils. Steam your face for about ten minutes. This helps to clear your sinuses and feels really good.

3. Get up and walk around, rub yourself all over to get the blood going in your body. Make small, light circles on your face with your hands, then tap your face very lightly all over. This will help wake you up.

4. Bring a few cough drops and some lotion wherever you are going. If ever you start to feel bad again, take a cough drop and rub the lotion into your hands. Repeat the face and body exercises.

5. Don't overwork yourself and try not to stress out. Drink plenty of water.

There is no quick fix to a cold especially one with a sore throat. They need to run their course. But if you wanted to try to be back in the saddle after a day or two... try drinking plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated and bundle up in a blanket and sleep. It always works for me.

There's no such thing. You have to let the virus run its course. It might be 2-3 days, it might be a week.

Stay hydrated, take it easy as far as exercise, don't smoke, don't drink alcohol. Hot soup may help break up the congestion, or decongestants will help as well.
