What is/was your reaction, when your son/daughter/family member tells you that he/she is gay/lesbian? Calm, shock or you know it is coming? I would like to know in your point of view, thanks.

i've never been in that position but, i believe i would be pretty calm. sure i'd be taken back a little,if i wasn't expecting it, but i think i could handle it. my gf's daughter recently came out to her. she did kind of suspect it but it still came as a bit of a shock to her.she cried a little but the next day she was fine.

my family knew it was coming and some parents try to be in denial when they know good and well that they knew that it was going to happen.
