how do they get the plumbing and electrical to the top floors, i was wondering if they do it one floor at a time, or wait till the whole building is finished, a diagram would be nice :)

The buildings have what are called "Pipe Chases" and "Electrical Chases" that are similar to elevator shafts and that go from the basement to the top floor and even to the roof in some cases.

All the pipes mains are installed in the pipe chases and and all the electrical cables are installed in the electrical chases.
Piping and electrical connections for each floor are then made and distributed from the chases.

It's done according to building codes and done one story at a time
