his teeth? If that is what you mean then he is a disgusting dirtball. That is gross and I cannot believe you kiss him.

Only if he is a dog it would be unreasonable- otherwise than that he needs to keep his hygeine up. It is unacceptable for an adult to walk around with garbage breath- seeing as though you learn how to brush and floss when you are young.

If he cannot get the picture- every time he talks to you throw your hand up over your nose and talk with your mouth covered until he realizes hes got the funk monster in his mouth...

No, brushing (I'm assuming) his teeth twice a day is a very reasonable request.

Aside from his breath smelling like a dog's and the bacteria he's sharing through kissing you, your boyfriend's dental hygiene is likely to lead to gum disease. Gum disease, which one develops from not brushing one's teeth & flossing properly, is not only painful, but it has recently been linked to pancreatic cancer:

So, when your beloved has lost all of his teeth & is in danger of losing his pancreas, be sure to let him know he brought his suffering on himself...all because a total of four minutes a day (about 15 if you floss twice a day, too) was just too much for him to handle.

if you asked him to brush his teeth twice a day, then you are being very reasonable, and he's disgusting. He needs to brush his teeth at least (and that's the bare minimum) twice a day, or he'll get cavities, gingivitis, and horrible breath. Just don't go near him if he doesn't do it- if he breaks up with you, at least you won't have to put up with the smell.
If you asked him to brush something else other than his teeth, I can't really answer.

Not at all.
It is normal hygeine and there are other reasons that one should brush at least twice a day. Illness prevention for one.
The teeth harbor so much bacteria!
I certainly wouldn't want to smooch on someone who had bad breath, would HE?
Stick to your guns, you aren't unreasonable, just hygeine conscious! :)

Best of luck !: )

brush his teeth? That's entirely reasonable and basic hygeine.

Brush his hair? No, that's ridiculous. I barely brush my hair twice a year, twice a day would be absurd.

Absolutely not! To me this would be a dealbreaker if he doesn't maintain at least basic personal hygiene. And believe me he will only get worse if you let him get away with this during the dating stage.... if you marry him he'll probably deteriorate into weekly baths and underwear reversing!

Sometimes I fall asleep on the couch at night and don't brush when I finally stagger into bed. If this your case, don't hassle him because couch sleep is very important to a man's health.
