When someone asks you "what are you talking about?"
You say "didn't I tell you."
They say "no"
You say "it's none of your business then"
Another one is:
Are you writing a book? If so, leave that chapter out.
Another:
Awful nosey aren't we? :)

I was always a fan of this one:
Nosey Bastard: "Hey whats that all about?"
You: "What? You didnt hear?"
Nosey Bastard: "No, I didn't, what happened?"
You: "Well, it turns out that *someone* did'nt know how to mind their own business so Santa Clause, The Terminator and St. Vladimir kidnapped them and is now holding them hostage on the moon!"
You can substitute Santa Clause, The Terminator and St. Vlad for whatever fictional or non-fictional characters you wish, so long as they have nothing to do with the original conversation.

"Nunya"- means nunya bizniz
Or "I only give that info on a need to know basis..." - insinuating that they don't need to know.
It also kind of depends on what they've said or asked...
For instance, if you're at a wedding and some meddling person comes up and says "so when are you gonna finally get married?" Your response could be either one of the above answers or you could say, "when it becomes legal". You know what conclusion they'll jump to, but who cares? They have overstepped the boundaries of 'polite'. Or, depending on the person...your answer could be, "when your husband finally leaves you..." I know it sounds rude, so, if you're a nice person...
just say, "Wow! Now..., isn't that a question? observation? or whatever." and leave it at that...no other response/answer is necessary.

How about a riddle instead?
I've always liked "Do you know how to keep a moron in suspense?", and then just walk away. You could substitute "nosey person".

Life is good.... so try to get one!!
For those people who claim their just wondering when you asking why they want to know:
Don't let your mind wander, it's too small to be out on its own.
PERSON 1: what were you talking about (saying)?
In essence, that I'm the opposite of you. I have a life.

If they ask you a question that is none of their business, look them in the eye and say, "Why do you want to know?"
