I say thank you. It's good to be able to accept a compliment. Inside I'm thinking "maybe this person does really believe I'm beautiful, or else he's bull....ing" Either way it's nice to hear, even if I don't feel beautiful.

Everyone loves to hear this - but not when they know they aren't looking their best & they will rebuff the comment - so then say 'You always look beautiful to me.'
You are definitely a romantic and a girl will be really lucky to have you. Remember to say these words when you are in a relationship & when you are married. Married men or men in long term relationships seem to forget to say this. I'm very lucky my husband tells me he loves me multiple times each and every day - but 'your beautiful' is something I never hear anymore - I miss it.

Depends who tells me that,,, there are girls who feel top of the world hearing that from the genitor even,, well I'm more selective and I'm glad when such appreciation comes form an educated good looking man not from any desperate who tells me in a cheap way I'm cute. LOL

It depends on the person.
If it's a nice, sweet guy, I'll usually think, "Aw, that's so nice."
If it's a guy who has a reputation for partying and dating lots of girls, I'll think he's just trying to get into my pants.
If it's another girl, I'll probably think she's just giving me a compliment.
