Wax Hair Remover is expensive, it hurts and your hair would turn black, try to use manual facial hair remover for face, or body hair remover sponge, that's easy and cheap, have a look here

Yes and no, it depends on the brand name you have. The only reason for this is some brands have very area specific formulas (i.e. thicker formula for leg/bikini, thin for facial). I would read your box and instructions for precautions, but if not, I'm sure it's safe!
