explorer has preformed an illegal program and will shut down!!! any reason why??

You still using Windows 98? Anyway, basically that is just fancy Microsoft speak for, "Explorer f-ed up, and needs to restart" So nothing to worry about.

this is because of some worms and trojans which affect the explorer the best solution for this is to download software from microsoft the link is provided in the sources.
it will help you get the error solved if it's a serious trojan
and if you are still not able to get it done try to post the error code that is generated

Something is messed up. Try updating your version of windows and be sure you routinely run "Disk Defragmenter" and "Check Disk".
