It could be that it has gone on long enough that the old adage 'If in doubt cut it out' should be applied. Certainly whatever it is an excision biopsy would give the answer.

i had a lump at the top of my leg once and it turned out to be an infection i had caught from a natbite on my foot it got infected and the posion was in my blood making the gland swell i know you have glands in your armpit as well so check if you have any cuts on your arms if so you proberly just need antibotics to clear out the posion

It's probably either a swollen gland or an infected sweat gland, but your doctor shouldn't have just left it at that. You need to go back and explain the problem is still there, as they have only looked into one possible explanation.

dr should have said what it could have been might be a cyst or you could have an infection somewhere and your lymph glands are up. If it `s still there in a few days go back you obviously need some re- assurance

probly a cyst. I have one and they said to stop drinking caffine and the pain would be better....good luck, check back with doc
