If you both want to of course there is a chance. However, it would seem after seven years of being together someone is dragging their feet. Marriage requires mutual consent.

well in mi if you live with someone for that long there is a thing called a common law marriage (i think) they never actually got married but since they have lived together for so long they are kinda married? i don't know how it works. but if you want to be married then have a wedding and do it the right way! :)

Some states automatically have a common law marriage if you have been living together for a certain amount of time and call each other "husband" and "wife". You might check on those laws for your state. You might be common-law married.

Not really, and even if you did it's likely it won't last. Studies have proven over and over that couples that live together before marriage have a much higher rate of divorce.
Seven years of history should have answered this question for you.

I think you are referring to common law marriage. The laws regarding this are different from state to state. Just because you live together for that long does not mean you are. You both would have to agree to it.
