Which gives you the best overall workout? Is one better than the other? What are the pros and cons of each?

treadmill is much better - you burn more calories and more muscles are being worked with.

It depends on which bike you use...if you just sit back and pedal, it's not doing a whole lot for you but if you take a spin class...it's hard core! I'm a runner and love the treadmill but I've gotten a great workout and had much more definition in my legs and butt by doing the cycling classes. I don't prefer one or the other, both are great...work hard for at least an hour and you'll see great results!

I like the teadmill. There is a guy that I work with & he lost like 10 pounds in 3 weeks or maybe even more & he said that he drinks nothing but water & then he started walking & now he is running every other day & he looks really good. Now I am starting to work out. Lol

which ever one you choose you will benefit. But the treadmill works better. Because it uses your all your body. The bike just uses your legs and abs.
