Yes, it is possible to have a stroke and not realize it (these are small strokes or transient ischemic attacks TIAs). Keep up treatment and talk more with your doctor. You don't want them to get worse!

Yes you can have a stroke and not realize it at the time. Recently, I had an MRI of the brain and it showed that a nerve covering was missing. My neurologist said that could have been caused by a mini stroke that I didn't even know about

Just last week, a 12 year old neighbor went to the emergency room because she said she had a head ache. After a while, she began to complain about numbness in her arm and lips. Later she said the numbness moved to different areas of her body. The doctors told her it could be a type of migraine causing this reaction. More test will be done.

Hope and pray you find the reason for your pain and that it will be easily cured! My car wreck has left me with similar pains as yours, but mine is from hitting my head, and muscles and nerves being stretched. I, too, would like relief!

Yes, it is VERY possible. My husband and I have moved a lady in that we have known our whole lives. She had a small stroke in November and didn't even know she had one. She went to her doctor and they found that she had one and then she started having problems from then on. I hope this is not happening to you, however, there are possibilities. Have a blessed day.

Yes, and they are dangerous because it means blood vessels in your brain are bleeding and causing scar tissue which, over time, hampers your ability to do things. Lots of people have mini-strokes and don't know it or won't take them seriously. I don't know for sure but I suspect that mini-strokes are your body's way of saying "got get help NOW" before a major stroke hits. I had an uncle who had mini-strokes for several years, he just ignored them but over time they damaged his brain so badly he basically was incapable of thinking or doing anything for himself, his wife had to bathe him, feed him, take him out for walks, etc. He'd smile and do whatever you wanted him to do (you kind of had to lead him physically)--his body functioned normally but he no longer had the mental ability to tell his own body how to take care of himself. He eventually had a massive stroke and died. My dad (this uncle's brother) has had several mini-strokes but we've gotten him medical attention immediately and made him change his lifestyle, and are hoping. Good luck, and listen to your doctor.

Yes, I have. The pain was in my head, left arm, left leg, and truly painful right down the center of my chest. Since I have severe asthma, I couldn't decide if I was having a severe asthma attack or WHAT. My doctor told me what he told you. I thought I would DIE (really), by myself, and could not breath
