I could totally insert a joke, here, about getting a hot shot of protein, but I'm gonna take the high road. Your best bet would be something like soy or peanut based protein.

try protein shakes! I did and lost 11 pounds and 21 inches in only 9 days. I was very happy with the results and continued on the program and lost 29 pounds in 5 weeks. This is the fastest I have ever lost with other diets like Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Medifast, Slimfast etc…. Cleansing works by removing impurities from your body. You get impurities from your food (pesticides, preservatives, food additives, colorings) water, chemicals, pollution, medications, alcohol, hormones that the animals you eat were fed etc….YUCK! The impurites get coated with fat and remain in your body. To remove the fat, you have to remove the impurites. This system worked for me, maybe it can work for you too. You can check out the website or call this toll free number 1-877-587-4647 for more info. The program is not cheap, but it is worth every penny since it works and keeps you motivated. Good luck! The Big Three that Immediately Come to Mind:
-Nuts, including peanutbutter.
-Soy, including soy milk.
-Beans (including soybeans. see above)

For all of those choices above, you can make healthy or unhealthy choices. i.e., certain kinds of nuts over others, natural peanutbutter over the sugar-filled kind, etc.

If you don't like soymilk, try the vanilla flavored stuff.

Also, your daily protein intake should not be all soy protein.

All of the above is assuming you don't eat dairy products, either. If you do, then cheese is a great source of protein.

And unless you're vegan, don't forget the Almighty Egg. Eggs are a fantastic source of protein. They're a favorite of many atheletes and trainers.

I had this problem too. You can get shots but they are expensive and need to have them weekly. I started to take Iron supplements, which has helped and cook in cast iron skillets. I also make sure I have Soy in my diet, such as the soy milks, the one Trader Joe's sells is great. Also you might increase your cheese but be careful due to high calories. Their is also Protein powder to add to smoothies, or protein shakes although flavor is not always great. Good luck...

I've never heard of a protein shot! Why don't you try protein shakes, or incorporate more beans into your diet. They are loaded with protein.
