All piercings hurt, that's just something that goes along with getting a piercing. How bad it will hurt depends on your tolerance to pain, but its done and over with quickly so its not bad. Make sure you take care of it while it heals.

Uh well it hurt me! It actually hurt more in the 10 minutes afterwards than when they were doing it. The ring I got was a pretty thick gauge so maybe that's why it hurt more. It healed pretty quickly but was annoying when it rubbed on my pants. Low-waisted pants weren't as available as they are now! I got it done at a piercing/tattoo place in Orlando about 12 years ago. Just make sure they are clean, wear gloves, use sterile needles etc..A body piercing place is your best bet.
Oh yeah- it will heal faster if you keep your hands off it and don't let others touch it and get germs on it. Wash your hands before touching it and cleaning it. Don't use iodine (the brownish orange stuff) to clean it because it can get into the piercing and stain it orange. I used alcohol and Neosporin on mine and it healed beautifully. Some places will give you a cleaning solution and tell you not to use alcohol.

hurt you mean.. yes all piercings hurt to some extent. its not a god feeling of course. your beeing stabbled by a needle. thats 2.0 mm wide... anyways its a very bearable pain. its quick and hurst for a few seconds.. then it iwll be sore to bend over and twist for the next couple of weeks. where you can get it done is to research a reputable piercer in your area. look through the yellow pages and call them. drop by to visit and ask them questions... of course you need to be 18 to get your navel piercing
and you need to be 16 with a parent or legal gaurdian to sign for you. most REPUTABLE places wont pierce anyone younger than 16 even if a partent is there at the time for you..
navel piercings are hard to heal. they can take up to a year to FULLY heal. and you will not be able to change the jewelry for about 6 months.. so when you do get it done pick outsomehtign you will like for that time period.
there are also risks with navel piercings such as migration and rejection. and with any piercing there is infection if you do not care for it.

Getting your belly button doesn't hurt at all, if anything it's a quick little pinch, and its over before you know it. You will be glad once you do it. You can go to almost any place that does tattoo's will do piercings as well. hope this helps

Some tattoo parlors, also some nail places and such. Whoever does piercings would do it except maybe stores like Claire's.
It doesn't hurt really. I think some girls just over react. It's pretty quick and blood-less.

mine did but that's cuz i have a TINY belly button. they tried 4 times before they could push it in. the clamp hurts worse than the needle really.
make sure you eat before hand so you won't pass out.
any body piercer in you area can do it. make sure they are steril and clean. ask to see a portfolio before agreeing to be pierced by them.
good luck! they're soo cute. so do it! it's worth the few seconds of stinging and adreneline!

You can get it done at a Tattoo Place. As for it hurting ... it is quick and feels like a burn from a curling iron. I am afraid of needles, but it was not as bad as I thought it would be.

I had it explained to me once as taking a metal straw and stabbing a potato to make the whole..after that..forget it. I haven't had one but I have heard tons and tons of horror stories.
