Eggs
Scrambled

Yogurt container method: crack an egg in to an old 3-4 inch diameter yogurt container. Beat with a little milk. Nuke 2 minutes. Voila, scrambled egg perfect for a bagel.

Alternative containers: small ceramic coffee mug.

Over-easy
Fork method: Use shallow ceramic or paper bowl. Spray bowl with Pam, or rub with butter (optional). Crack egg into bowl. Stab yolk with plastic fork, leaving fork inside the yolk. (The biggest problem with cooking unscrambled eggs in the microwave is that the yolk explodes. This method keeps the yolk from leaking, but also lets it relieve pressure and thus not explode.) Cook on high for 43-53 seconds (800watt) with the fork still within the yolk throughout cooking.

"Eggie" Method: Walmart sells egg microwave devices called "Eggies". They are plastic "egg shaped" containers with a small hole at the top. This allows the egg to explode without making a mess. I recommend the "fork" method instead.

Microwave Hard Boiled Eggs
You need:
1 egg
Nonstick cooking spray
Equipment:
Custard cup or small microwave container
Knife
1. Lightly spray small custard cup or other small microwave container.
2. Crack egg into container. Piece egg yolk gently.
3. Cover and cook on medium power (50%) for 45 seconds and then 1½ minutes.
Check egg after 45 seconds, and finish cooking at 15 second intervals until egg is
solid.
4. Let stand and cool before slicing or chopping.
This is an excellent way to prepare eggs for salads, etc. You won’t have to peel them,
either! Several eggs may be done at once, but they need to be rotated to cook evenly.
Eggs take 45 seconds–1½ minutes per egg. A shorter time per egg is required when
cooking several eggs

I did that once when microwave ovens first came out, I guess somewhere back in the 60's or 70's! DON"T DO IT!!!!!!!!!
That microwave came apart like spilling a bag of marbles! BIG BANG and st!t flew everywhere! I'm telling you, there should be a warning on those thing s because that egg blew like a bomb! You wouldn't think it would gain all that force in just one egg!

I do that all the time.
But take care to cover it up.

Safer to break an egg. Pierce it with a knife or folk point. Put it on a spoon of water. Cover and cook.
Sprinkle pepper and have it.
Cook for 1 min only. Sometimes a bit more reqd. As soon as u hear it splatter, put it off.

boiling water in the microwave is a bad idea, its rarely works. But i think if you attempt this wihtout water the egg can explode.

you might have better luck on a stove.

I wouldn't try it because they can explode and you'll have a stinky microwave with everything tasting like nuked eggs, so i wouldn't do it.

Maybe, , ,
I once heard that if you take a pin and poke holes in either side, it will allow the steam to escape and boil your egg.
I haven't tried it though. . . . . . .
