She is two years old and we had gotten her from a rescue about a year and 2 months ago. She was fully potty trained, could go all night without needing to go out. She would go when we woke up in the morning, and was really good about waiting for us. She has always eaten twice a day, once in the morning and in the evening. She has water in front of her all day. Nothing about this routine has changed. For the last 3 weeks she wakes us up, desperatly needing to go urinate and sometimes poop, at least 3 times a night, sometimes as much as 5 times a night. I am on bed rest, pregnant with twins and in and out of the hospital, so we didn't really pay attention when it began, but now that I am home, she wakes me up (not that I mind, I just notice it more now) minimum of 3 times a night. I have written down the times to see if there was a routine, but there really isn't. It can be any random time. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong, how I can re-train her bladder. Thank you

Is she spending less time outside during the day? Have you tried cutting off her water supply at 6 or 7 in the evening? Is there anyone else in the household that can take her out for about an hour before bedtime? Extra exercise right before bedtime may help to get her system empty and help her sleep all night.

She could be nervous or anxious about your condition and this is showing up in her pattern of elimination. On a more humorous side, maybe she thinks you need practice for when those twins arrive!

I've had a male Great Dane that had similar changes when the company that made the dog food I was feeding him changed their formula. When I changed his food, he went back to normal.

First-class Danes do like to make use of their bodies to get their manner. Early coaching can help with this. Due to the fact that their dimension you ought to have manipulate over them at all times. Even while playing, identical to a Lab can step on a Chihuahua Danes can accidently hurt any dog. They've about 50 lbs on most. I have a four month old Dane mix and hes already a horse. He thinks hes a Yorkie although.

If her routine hasn't changed but her habits have, it's more likely to be a medical problem than a case of re-training.

Have her checked by a vet, it could be cystitis. This is not such a huge problem in female dogs, it may mean a course of antibiotics.

The vet will probably examine her and ask for a urine sample - so if you can catch some urine in a pot and take it in in advance this will help but it has to be as fresh as possible!

If medical problems are ruled out, I can only suggest that your new routine (going in to hospital a lot) may possibly have upset her and caused her to change her routine?

You need to get her in to the vet and get her examined for UTI or other medical issues. If medical causes are ruled out then I would be looking at stress issues. Once the medical issues are ruled out then try spending more time with her and making things as unstressed as you can.Maybe get someone to come in a play with her, take her for a walk, etc if you are unable to do so.

Get a urine and stool sample and take it to the vet to make sure there is no medical reason for the change (bring her in too for an exam too).
My Dane is so regular that he won't even do his business until it's his usual time, so any change is unusual.

This sounds more like a physical problem, unless you have changed her dogfood recently. I would take her to the vet for a thorough examination. It could be a urinary tract infection, and there are several other possibilities.
