Maybe you should take sometime and figure out what went wrong in this situation and prepare for the next one.
The smart thing to do is to leave her alone if she's with someone else. I'm assuming you two broke up for a reason so maybe this is not the time to try and rekindle anything with your ex.

The smart thing is to move forward with your life. She's not presently available...and she's your 'ex' for a reason.
If, down the road, you are both available at the same time and want to try again then that's your business...but make sure the issues that broke you up the first time have been dealt with and resolved before walking a path together again.

The smart thing to do, is to let go. She's involved with someone else and you don't want to get tangled up in that kind of mess. Focus on you and your healing. Work on you. She may at some point decide she wants to talk to you, be with you, whatever, but don't put your life on hold waiting for it to happen.
Grieve for what might have been, for what could have been, for what you hoped would have been.
Sorry you have to go through this.

First of all what was the nature of the break up? Just curious, why would you want her back after she has been dating someone else. Dont you love yourself enough to move on? Explain, so I can give you an answer!

Best thing to do is to go on with your own life, she has found someone else. It wont be easy. Find some hobbies to take your mind off of it.

Let her live her life. Tell her how you feel but don't ask her to end her current relationship. If she is the one for you, she will come back around. Woman don't like pushy and needy ultimatums.

Ask her if she'll talk with you.
Does she look good now that someone else is interested in her?
Figure out what went wrong with your relationship (she can tell you her side of it), and decide to change.
