I can't imagine a situation where someone would have to choose between their God or their child, but I'd reluctantly have to kill the child. We're not to covet anything over God.

In my faith, if you have to save your life or someone elses, you are allowed to speak heresy.
Because faith comes in two levels, the heart that believes and the tongue that repeats it.
So even if my tongue says the opposite, I will still retain my faith.
