I'd let the puppies eat the homeless man

Perhaps this would be more appropriate in Philosophy. It appears to have nothing to do with Singles & Dating as I'd not be interested in dating the "dirty old homeless man" or the "cute little puppies"

Think of this. Puppies are little animals that are indevopled. Everybody has dreams, and I bet the homeless man does too. By saving a "dirty" homeless man, you open up his future and give millions of possiblites for what he could do. He would be ever indebt to you. Puppies on the other hand have no clue that you are spending money on them and they cant appreciate it.

Im going to be the only honest person answering this.... Neither. I dont have room for 100 puppys and how many people answering this question have opened their doors to a homeless man?

The way you've posed the question, you've made it about the appeal/attractiveness of who you're saving, rather than the philosophical assessment of the value of each life. So you're only allowing for one "right" answer - the homeless man - because anyone who saves the puppies would just be deemed shallow. So the question isn't really fair (and it should be labeled under philosophy, not singles and dating).

Personally, I believe animals have as much right to live as humans, and they certainly commit less sin and wrong-doing, so their souls/personhood are always more "worthy," in this sense. Philosophically speaking, you are not morally required to endanger the life of one to save the life of many, but neither are you permitted to sit back and let life be destroyed. So, morally, you should attempt to save both the puppies and the man, but if necessary you are permitted to save the many (puppies) over the one (man).

I'd save the homeless man. A lot of people already helps puppies, but very little people help homeless people. Sure they give them money when they pass by, but i mean really help them? I refuse to think so. You see, a puppy can only do so much, but saving the life of a human being and helping him reach his life goals? That's priceless.

Man....
Humane thing to do.

I know it'll sound bad, but you're chances are better that way too.
I mean 100 puppies?
You'd get what 3 before the rest drowned any way?

besides I'd feel bad either way knowing that I wanted to save both!
