I have a 2.5 yr old chihuahua recently dx'd with a mast cell tumor. I found it early and will have it removed by the vet so the grade is not yet determined. I found another tumor on her last night tho, even smaller. I have been informed of the odds of the different grades of MCT, but haven't read anything about multiple MCTs. I can't get her into the vet until next week, but I'm still curious if others have any idea.

Mast cells tumours always seem to come in groups, and often seem to be benign.

I've been a vet nurse for 4 years, and vets often seem a lot less concerned about mast cells tumours than other kinds. I THINK they're the ones most likely to be benign.

Sorry this post hasn't been particularly informative - I admit mast cells tumours are a bit of a gap in my knowledge, and something I really should know more about - I'm going to go away and revise it!
