Before we met,I knew
There was something about you.
Our hearts connected the very same day,
Like Love has found its way.
I didn't know it then, but I do know now,
That we've always been connected somehow.
Like two souls lost in the middle of the night,
have finally found the path to make their hearts right.
And though we maybe far away,
The Love we found is here to stay.
Spiritually my heart always knew,
I would find Love in my life, once that I found you.

This is not a question. This is a weak example of modern poetry.Also-- this does not count as being a "published" author.
And the rhyming couplets are not that well thought out. Maybe next time start with the bathroom wall at the train station-- if you get a positive response. Then post to an internet poetry site.
