You're almost right, except that it hasn't broken off yet, it just is threatening to.
Large pieces of ice have broken off of Antarctica. But the Texas size piece ( the "Amundsen Sea Embayment") the scientists are worried about is still OK for now.

Because the Antarctic ice is basically attached to land, melting it will raise the sea level. Only ice which is truly floating won't raise the sea level.

with the North pole ,which is ice already in the water ,when that melts it makes no difference to the water level except that tons of fresh water is lost ,
93% of all water on the planet , is salt and of the 7 % remaining 75% is locked in ice
However on the South pole ,glaziers ,mountain snow ,Greenland ,all of this ice ,some of it kilometers deep, is on LAND and all of this will run into the seas directly of via the rivers ADDING to the water, and so drastically effect the overall Global sea level
but i dont know about the 20 feet
when the sea level rises only a few inches already much agricultural lands are lost

Hi. A floating iceberg would not change to sea level just by melting. The ice and the water it displaces are equal in volume.

It is not in danger of breaking off, it is just melting. If it melts completely, then sea levels could rise by about 20 feet. Of course, this will not happen overnight.

Fill a Glass with ice ,now pore in water until it is full. Let it set to see how much it runs over. U will have less than what u thought. Ice occupies less space when melted than it does as a liquid.

Funny that this kind of thing HAPPENS ALL THE TIME. Even more amusing is that you don't seem to realize that summer just ended in Antarctica. Nothing is going to happen.
Geez, I've gotta get out of this category. It is rife with the uninformed and the intentionally ignorant.
