Anything but Nana. My mother in law wants to called Nana, and she really bugs the heck out of me, so anytime I hear that name I am reminded of her stupidity. It fails at trying to be creative. It is just overdone instead of cutesy. Just plain Grandma is even better than Nana. Especially if the honky can't even pronounce it right.

In my mom's relatives, we've... Grandma, MaMaw (like "ma'am maw), Nana. On my dad's edge, that is Granny. yet, whether you %. out a pretty call, your grandchild would exchange it. My aunt is completely "Ying," through fact i could no longer say "Linda" whilst i replaced into little. LOL. Congrats!

My kids call my mum, 'Grandmummy'.
Actually, it's more like 'granmummy' :-)
Very, very cute and my mother chose it because she didn't want to be called grandma or Nana. (Mine are her first grandkids too)
Good luck and congratulations! :-)
