Yes. I never received personal revelation as a Christian. I received revelation after revelation only after I started studying Gnosticism. That flies in the face of what some Christians will tell you, but that is just my own personal experience. Maybe it's called personal revelation for a reason.

That is kind of a loaded question.
The personal revelation that comfirms the truthfullness of the the Holy Bible is given to us by the Holy Ghost, and when it's given it is given in an un-deniable fashion.
We can receive revalations from the Holy Ghost for other things, but every individual has a unique and different relationship with God, so it's impossible to make one general statement about it.
If someone really wants to know if the Bible is true they can find out by reading it and praying about it, but if all they are doing is looking for an excuse to deny it so they don't feel guilty when they go against it's teachings then they might as well not even bother.

You are correct. Personal revelation allows people to understand scripture, but does not confirm the authority of scripture.
Scripture is confirmed by prophecy. For example, the likelihood of only eight of the multiple prophesies about Jesus would come true is about the same as the likelihood of you randomly choosing a marked silver dollar out of a pile of silver dollars that covered the state of Texas to the depth of one foot. And...there were many more than eight predictions that did in fact come true...predictions that could not have been engineered by someone trying to look as if he were trying to fulfill them.

Personal revelation confirmed to me that I could sing when I was drinking at a karaoke bar. I thought I did amazingly well, but everybody at work laughed at me the next day. Obviously they are heretics who dont understand revelation at all!

I don't know what exactly is personal revelation and how could it prove anything. All Christians claim they have personal revelations.

It could certainly confirm anything. It confirms to a lot of women that spandex is a good idea, and we know that that isn't the case.

I guess so. The operative word being personal. If I "feel" that the bible is crap, that is confirmation for me.
